It was an incredible honor to spend the day with Jack Fritscher and Mark Hemry at their home in Sonoma. Jack is an author, professor, historian, activist, and high priest. He was the editor of Drummer Magazine during its ‘golden years,’ and he and Mark founded Palm Drive Video. If you haven’t seen the documentary about Palm Drive Video by Wohler Films, ‘Raw! Uncut! Video!’ - I highly recommend it!
Jack and Patrick ran in the same circles in 1980s San Francisco; it was fascinating to hear their stories and memories! We brought our friends Jeremy and Ricky to film their conversation for a future project. More soon!

Few, if any, male models are as famous as Bruno, our cover and centerfold Playguy this month. His hirsute, muscled body has become the epitome of hairy masculinity. This is the mass of manflesh we think about when we dream of turning our faces into thrones. The Bruno phenomenon was begun by Colt Studios, responsible for having introduced us to many of our favorite bodies. Other photographers have continued to help keep Bruno sprawled across our consciousness. Len Tavares photographed this special Bruno exclusively for Playguy.
