New York City 🚨 June 19—July 18: Don’t Stop. Stand Up!
We are proud to announce @yabupushelberg’s upcoming exhibition - Don’t Stop. Stand Up! - in partnership with UNAIDS Global. This exhibition traces the history of LGBTQIA+ identity, activism, and resilience in response to HIV.
In support of the United Nations goal to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030 through public engagement and social mobilization, the exhibition will feature photography from the archive of Tony Mansfield—featuring images of Andy Warhol, Candy Darling, and the Factory—alongside panels of the US AIDS Memorial Quilts, videos from UNAIDS, cultural artifacts researched and curated by New School alum Stan Walden, and the New York debut of a selection of works from Canadian photographer Christopher Sherman’s “Your Shame Bores Me.”
The exhibition is free and open to the public from June 19 to July 18 at our New York gallery, 66 White Street, Tuesday to Saturday weekly, from 12 to 7 PM.
